Prevention of Accidents & Crane Erect
Oregon is dedicated to the prevention of accidents and cases of work related ill health. To reduce the risk of falls from height and vastly reduce lifting injuries, we have chosen to erect our frames by use of a crane. We train all our site operatives, provide supervision and ensure that they have the appropriate certification and awareness of all safe practices.
Site Supervision
The key to Oregon's excellent Health & Safety record on site is our team of dedicated Contracts Managers, who supervise and manage the teams of erectors. Each Contracts Manager is responsible for ensuring that the erectors have the appropriate certification and follow our Health & Safety Policy, Method Statement, Risk Assessment and on-site rules.
Training
All Oregon’s Contracts Managers are Appointed Persons for lifting operations and are platinum level CSCS card holders. Our erectors are UKTFA/City & Guilds accredited or equivalent and are continually monitored and trained to ensure the Health & Safety rules are adhered to. The majority of this erector training is provided by our in-house Health and Safety Manager who is qualified to NVQ level 4/ Grad IOSH. in Occupational Health and Safety.
Risk Assessment/Method Statement
Oregon provides a detailed site specific Risk Assessment and Method Statement including our Health & Safety Policy for every contract.

Case Study
"By saving 2 weeks scaffold hire time per unit, Oregon’s Scaffold
Free Erection System delivered significant savings on our prelim
costs. And, because scaffold was off the critical path, we weren’t
reliant on other trades, so we got an altogether better build
programme. I’d certainly recommend it."
Tam Wylie – Site Manager, CALA Homes (West) Ltd.
